Dhaka, 17 Oct - National women’s football team forward Srimoti Krishnarani Sarkar said she is prepared to make the best use of every single opportunity if she gets chance to play in the match of the SAFF Women’s Championship.

“Look, a player is morally down after coming from long injury, but if I am given a chance to play, I’ll give my hundred percent effort in the match,” Krishna said Thursday during the team’s practice session at ANFA Complex in Nepal, she said through a video message Thursday.

She also thanked the Almighty for her return in the national team. She did not forget to thank her coaches and teammates who stood beside her during her bad time.

The forward, who returned to the team after suffering long injury, said, “Coming off an injury, it's hard to get along with teammates but I am trying to adjust myself with them in the training.”

The forward said she feels much better than before and is now able to play and run naturally.

Bangladesh women’s football team manager Mahmuda Akter said all the players are fit and there is no injury concern in the team.

Bangladesh will start their SAFF Championship campaign taking on Pakistan on Sunday (Oct 20) before playing their last group match against mighty India on October 23.
