Kisku optimistic for India match

Dhaka, 22 Oct - Bangladesh national women's football team defender Kohati Kisku said they are optimistic to win against India because their progress of semifinals place is hugely depends on the result of their crucial group match against India.

Defending champions Bangladesh will take on five times SAFF Champions India in their ultimate group match scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at Dasharath Rangasala Stadium in Kathmandu Nepal. 

"Our progress of semifinal place depends on the result of Wednesd ay's match against India .......we'll take to the field to win the match and utmost try to do something good against India," she said through a video message during the team's practice session at the Army Headquarters ground in Kathmandu on Tuesday. 

The defender said they had meeting with coach and the coach discussed with the players about the playing position for Wednesday's game against India. "We'll play according to our coach instruction..... let's see what happen," Kisku said further.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh team held their training session this afternoon at the Army headquarters ground. Following the training, the team returned to their hotel for an ice bath recovery session to ensure optimal readiness for their upcoming match.
