Dhaka, 31 Oct  - The SAFF winning Bangladesh eve football team returned home Thursday afternoon after winning the 2024 edition of the SAFF Women's Championship.

The team, led by Sabina Khatun, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 2.15 pm.

A well-equipped open-top bus ready to welcome the girls of red and green. A crowd of eager people gathered outside the airport to welcome the Bangladesh team. The squad will board an open-top bus to kick start the victory parade enroute to the Bangladesh Football Federation.

A large number of football fans with banners are eagerly waiting in front of BFF Bhaban to welcome Sabina and Co.

The Bangladesh team also meets the Sports Advise Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain at the BFF Bhaban in the afternoon.

Bangladesh retained the SAFF title after beating host Nepal by 2-1 goals in the final held at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal on Wednesday night.
