SAFF champions get cash reward of Taka one crore

Dhaka, 11 Nov - The national Sports Council (NSC) has issued thirty two cheques for players and officials of the SAFF winning Bangladesh women's football team, equally disbursing the promised Taka one crore reward, Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud confirmed the matter in a post on his official page.

The NSC notice said that cheques worth Taka 3,12,500 named for all the players and officials of the team have been issued and are ready to be handed over.

Earlier, on October 31 last, the Youth and Sports Adviser announced cash reward of Taka one crore for eve football team on behalf of Ministry of Youth and Sports for winning the prestigious SAFF women's Championship title for the second time in a row beating Nepal by 2-1 goals in the final held in Kathmandu on October 30 last.
