Dhaka, 14 Dec -Bangladesh Police Football Club notched their second win in the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League Football beating Dhaka Wanderers Club by 4-0 goals held at Shaheed Barkat Stadium in Gazipur on Saturday.
In the day's match, forward Al Amin scored a brace while forward Dipok Roy and Syed Shah Quazem Kirmane supported him with a lone goal apiece for Police who led the first half by 2-0 goals.
Dhaka Wanderers Club fought neck to neck with Police till the 35th minute of the match but Al Amin finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Police in the 36th minute and he doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 42nd minute.
After the resumption, Dipok further widened the Police's margin scoring the third goal in the 79th minute while Kirmane sealed the victory scoring the fourth goal for Police in the 84th minute of the match.
With the day's victory, Bangladesh Police Football Club improved their tally with six points from three matches while Dhaka Wanderers Club is yet to open their account playing the same number of matches.
Bangladesh Police Football Club will play their next match against Mohammedan Sporting Club on December 20 while Dhaka Wanderers Club will play against Fortis Football Club on December 21.
Bangladesh Police Football Club earlier suffered a 2-1 defeat to Brothers Union Club in their league opening match but they bounced back to register an overwhelming 4-1 win over Fakirerpool Young Men's Club in their second league match.
Dhaka Wanderers Club went down 6-0 defeat to Mohammedan Sporting Club in their league opening match and suffered a 1-0 goal defeat to Abahani Limited Dhaka in their second league match.
