Danilo secures Police FC's exciting victory in BPL

Dhaka, 12 March  - Brazilian defender Danilo Quipap scored a winning goal from a penalty in the dying moment as Bangladesh Police Football Club registered an exciting 2-1 goals victory over Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League Football held today (Saturday) at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet.

With the day's outcome, Police FC raised their tally to 14 points from eight matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society remained at their previous credit of seven points playing the same number of matches.

In the day's match, Moroccan midfielder Adil Kouskous put Police FC in the 11th minute of the match while after the breather Sunday Chizoba brought the excitement in the match as he restored the parity for Rahmatganj in the 89th minute of the match.
 
At one stage, it was seemed the match was heading for a draw, but Danilo Quipap finally sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Police FC converting a spot kick in the 90+3rd minute of the match.

Bangladesh Police FC will play their next match against Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra on Friday (March 18) at Shaheed Muktijoddha Smrity Stadikum in Rajshahi while Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society will face Swadhinata Krira Sangha on the same day at Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet.
