Hamza gets green signal from FIFA to represent Bangladesh

Dhaka, 19 Dec - Bangladesh-origin English footballer Hamza Choudhury has finally got the formal approval from FIFA to represent the Bangladesh national football team at international level, confirmed a Bangladesh Football Federation press release today.

 
The BFF press release read that FIFA's football tribunal player status
chamber has cleared Hamza to represent the Bangladesh national football team.

The issue of Hamza was hanging in FIFA for a long time. Finally, Hamza's dream of playing in the red-green jersey is going to be fulfilled after the FIFA's approval.

The Leicester City FC midfielder Hamza Choudhury is expect to make his international debut for Bangladesh's next international AFC Asian Cup match against India on March 25 next year in Kolkata.
