Abahani, Brothers derby end in goalless draw

Dhaka, 25 Jan- Abahani Limited Dhaka split points with Brothers Union Club when their match ended in a tame goalless draw in the last round of Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Premier League football held at Shaheed Birshreshtha Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Saturday.

In the proceeding, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to take lead due to lack of proper finishing.

With the day’s outcome, the sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited finished at second position in the league table with 20 points from nine matches while the all-orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club finished fifth position with 15 points playing the same number of matches.
