Dhaka, 7 March -Bangladesh national football team’s defender Saad Uddin said he is expecting an exciting football match against India.
“Our preparation is going well … the match against India is always exciting and each player must perform their best individually and also team wise. Each player must want to make the best use of the opportunity against India match,” Saad
said through a video message during the team’s gym session in Taif, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Friday.
Saad said they are not feeling any pressure to face Indian star footballer Sunil Chhetri in match because they have previous experience of playing with the Indian star forward.
The defender however admitted that since Sunil Chhetri is a good player so it would be good opportunity for them to play with him.
Forward Sheikh Morsalin said the team’s preparation is going well and we are fully prepared to play against India.
“We have started training before the Indian team for the qualifiers match and we want to win the match against India anyhow,” said the young forward.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh national football team participated in a gym session this (Friday) morning. Twenty seven footballers, divided into three groups, completed the session.
Defender Rahmat Mia, who joined with the team on Thursday night, however did not participate in the morning gym session. He is expected to join the team in field practice this evening.
The booters will hold a two-week long intensive training in Taif under the supervision of head coach Javier Cabrera and is expected to return home on March 17.
During the intensive training, the national team is scheduled to play practice matches in Taif.
Bangladesh will play their AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 qualifiers match against India in Shillong on March 25.
