Little Friends, Dhaka Rangers notch win in BCL

Dhaka, 17 March -Little Friends Club and Dhaka Rangers Football Club won their respective third round matches of the Bashundhara Group Bangladesh Championship League football held at two separates venues in the capital on Monday.

Held at Fortis ground, Little Friends Club thrashed BRTC Sports Club by 6-0 goals with Arbit Roy scored a brace in the 73rd and 88th minutes while Amir Ali, Md Shofiq Rahman and Md Ali Mirad supported him with a lone goal each in the 45th, 45+2nd and 64th minutes respective for the winning side after Md Limon of BRTC scored a suicidal goal in the 14th minute of the match.

In another match, Dhaka Rangers Football Club beat City Club by 2-1 goals held at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground.

In the proceeding, Md Rayhan gave Dhaka Rangers a deserving lead in the 40th minute but after the breather Md Imon Ali Sheikh restored the parity for City Club in the 51st minute of the match.

Al Amin Rahman however sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Dhaka Rangers in the 90+1st minute of the match. BSS
