National booters report for camp tomorrow

Dhaka, 29 May- The preliminary selected national booters will report to team manager Amer Khan at Hotel Intercontinental Friday evening for the residential training camp ahead of the two home matches against Bhutan and Singapore.

The decision was taken at a national teams committee’s third meeting held at Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban Thursday.

National teams committee’s chairman and BFF president Tabith Awal presided over the meeting. 

The booters will start their on-field training on May 31 at national stadium under the supervision of head coach Javier Cabrera.

The meeting decided to send the Bangladesh U-23 men's national in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers. Bangladesh drawn in group C along with Singapore, Yemen and Vietnam.

Vietnam will host Group C slated to be played between September 1 to 9.  

Meanwhile, Bangladesh national football team will take part in international match under FIFA tier-1 during the FIFA window between September 1-9.BSS
