Ctg. Abahani, Rahmatganj MFS share point in BPL
Dhaka, 25 April - Chittagong Abahani Limited lost valuable points as they were forced to play a goalless draw by Rahmatganj Muslim and Friend Society in the TVS Bangladesh Premier League football held Monday at Sylhet district Stadium in Sylhet.
In the day’s match, both the teams got several scoring chances but failed to convert any of those into a goal.
With the day’s outcome, the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited secured 22 points from 12 matches while the old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society collected 10 points playing the same number of outings.
Chittagong Abahani Limited will meet Sheikh Russel KC while Rahmatganj MFS face Saif Sporting Club in their respective next round matches scheduled to be held on April 30.
Earlier, in the first phase, Chittagong Abahani managed a 2-1 goal victory over Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
