Bangladesh women's team face Pakistan tomorrow

DHAKA, Jan 22, 2026 (BSS) - Motivated Bangladesh women's team, led by Sabina Khatun, face their Pakistani counterpart in their fifth match of SAFF Women's Futsal Championship scheduled to held at Nonthaburi Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand tomorrow.

The match kicks off at 1 pm (BST).

Bangladesh currently dominates the point table with ten points from four matches while Pakistan stand fifth position in the table with seven points playing five outings. 

Earlier, Bangladesh made a winning start in the tournament beating India by 3-1 goals in their opening match. 

The Sabina and Co, came from behind, played out to a 3-3 with Bhutan in their second match and blanked Nepal by 3-0 goals in their third match and beat Sri Lanka by 6-3 goals in their four match of the tournament.

While Pakistan earlier played out to a 1-1 with Bhutan, beat Sri Lanka 3-2, defeated Maldives 3-1, and suffered 5-3 defeat to India and 5-1 to Nepal.

Bangladesh will play their last match of the championship against Maldives on Sunday (January 25) at the same venue.

The table toppers at the end of all seven rounds of matches will be crowned in the SAFF Women's Futsal champions.BSS
