Booters report to camp

Dhaka, 16 May - The national booters this Monday afternoon  reported with necessary sports gears to the team's manager Iqbal Hossain for the residential training camp at Radisson Blue Hotel Dhaka Water Garden in the city ahead of the FIFA tier-1 International match and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Shahidul Islam could not report to the camp due to his injury.

The booters will have their first close door training session Tuesday at Bashundhara Sports Complex at 4 pm.
 
Earlier, on Saturday last, Bangladesh Football Federation picked up 21 booters for the residential training camp.

The FIFA tier-1 International match will be held on June 1 in Indonesia while the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 qualifiers is scheduled to be held from June 8-14 in Malaysia.

The Bangladesh team is expected to leave for Indonesia on May 27 to play a FIFA Tier-1 International match against the host team before moving to Malaysia to play the AFC Asian Cup matches.

Bangladesh would play the first match of the AFC Asian Cup against Bahrain on June 8, play the second match against Turkmenistan on June 11 and play the third match against host Malaysia on June 14.
 
Those who were selected for the camp are-- Tutul Hossain Badsha , Shahidul Alom, Kabir Hossain, Nabib Newaz Zibon and Abu Saeed (Abahani Limited), Riyadul Hasan, Jamal Bhuyan, Maraz Hossain and Foysal Ahmed Fahim (Saif SC), Rahmat Mia, Saad Uddin, Hemanta Vincent Biswas and Ashraful Islam Rana (Sheikh Russel KC), Jafar Iqbal (Mohammedan SC), Mohammad Nayeem, Mittul Marma and Rayhan Hossan (Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club) Isa Faisal (Bangladesh Police Football Club), Sohel Rana (Chittagong Abahani), Papon Singh (Uttar Baridhara) and Asif Hossain (only for training) (BFF Elite Academy).
