In the day’s match, GM Niaz drew with GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib of Saif Sporting Club.
GM Rakib, IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Bangladesh Ansar and FM Md Taibur Rahman followed securing 5 points each.
Four players — GM Ziaur Rahman and GM Reefat Bin Sattar of Bangladesh Ansar, IM Mohammad Minhaz Uddin of Bangladesh Navy and CM Manon Reja Neer of Chattogram — are sharing third slot collecting with 4.5 points each.
