USAID Boosts Support for Bangladesh’s Growth

On Wednesday, USAID Mission Director Reed Aeschliman and his team held productive discussions with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, committing to enhance their support for Bangladesh’s democratic and economic growth.

The meeting focused on strategies to maximize USAID investments in support of the interim government’s efforts, aiming to help Bangladeshis build brighter and more prosperous futures. Both sides explored ways to leverage local expertise and ensure equitable opportunities for people across the country.

In a statement on X, USAID highlighted the productive nature of the discussions, emphasizing their commitment to strengthening the partnership between the two countries. “We had a great meeting with Chief Adviser Yunus to discuss maximizing USAID investments and advancing our long-standing partnership. We look forward to the journey ahead,” the agency stated.
