Lebanon's health ministry announced that 52 people were killed and 72 injured on Friday due to Israeli airstrikes in the eastern region, specifically the Baalbek-Hermel area. The Israeli military did not issue any evacuation warnings prior to the attacks.

Among the casualties, twelve individuals lost their lives in the village of Amhaz, while nine were reported dead in Yunin and eight in Bednayel. The strikes have intensified fears and concerns within the local communities, further escalating tensions in the region.
