The minister said this while addressing a press briefing at the secretariate on Tuesday.

Health Minister Dr Samanta Lal Sen ordered the authority concerned to shut unregistered private hospitals, diagnostic centers and clinics across the country.

The minister said this while addressing a press briefing at the secretariate on Tuesday (January 16).

He said, "I myself am a victim of unlicensed hospitals. So, I will never give up on this issue. I've already said that I will stand against corruption, and that there will be no concessions regarding unregistered hospitals."

Following the death of five-year-old Ayaan, the minister said the death of baby Ayaan is very sad. Necessary steps will be taken regarding the death incident. As far I know that a probe committee will submit its report tomorrow in this regard.

Earlier this morning, Ayaan's family members met the minister with their four-point demand, including fair trial.
