A medical team from China’s Wuhan Third Hospital is extending hands-on support to Bangladeshi doctors at the National Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery, strengthening collaboration in the treatment of burn victims.

During their ongoing visit, the Chinese doctors and nurses reaffirmed their commitment to helping Bangladesh treat burn injuries and offered assistance in various medical procedures.

The team actively engaged in patient care—examining injuries, cleaning wounds, changing dressings, and performing arterial punctures. They also guided local healthcare professionals on surgical techniques, wound infection prevention, and improving daily care for burn patients.

The Chinese experts joined Bangladeshi, Singaporean, and Indian medical teams in joint consultations, promoting international cooperation in hospital care and burn treatment.
