Fakhrul off to Singapore for wife's treatment

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir left here for Singapore this morning for undergoing his wife Rahat Ara Begum's treatment.


He along with his wife departed from Dhaka at 8:10am by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, said BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan. 

He said the medical appointments in Singapore had been arranged earlier, and accordingly the BNP secretary general along with his wife went there for her treatment today, reports BSS. 

However, he did not say how long they would stay in Singapore.
