Boiler blast kills worker in Dhaka

Dhaka, Aug 22 – A worker of a factory was killed in a boiler explosion at Shyampur in the capital on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Mahbub, 70, of Srinagar in Munshiganj district.

Inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp, said the boiler machine of the aluminum product making factory went off with a big bang, leaving Mahbub injured.

Later, he was taken to DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 10 pm. – UNB
