Jeddah, 20 May 2024 - Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, offered heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of Iran over the death of H.E. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Foreign Minister Mr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their accompanying delegation during the crash of the helicopter in which they were traveling yesterday, Sunday 19 May 2024. He prayed to Allah to shower them with mercy and forgiveness, to admit them to paradise, and to grant their relatives the fortitude to bear the loss. – OIC News
