2024 International Symposium on the Question of Al-Qods

Jeddah, 26 June 2024 - The General Secretariate of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announces that it will organize the 2024 International Symposium on the Question of Al-Qods in partnership with the United Nation's Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) under the theme “Al-Qods and the Gaza War: Palestinian Identity and Existence Under Threat of Erasure”. The International Symposium will be held on Monday, 1st July 2024 at 9:00 am at the OIC Headquarters in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Besides the OIC Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha who will participate in the Symposium, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Khaled Khiari, UN Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, H.E. Ambassador Cheikh Niang Chair of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People Permanent Representative of Senegal to the United Nations, H.E. Ambassador Riyad Mansour Representative of the State of Palestine and Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations, a number of panelists will speak at the event, which will be attended by the Permanent Representatives of the OIC Member States.
