OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha Receives H. E. Sheikhul Islam, Mufti of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Council of Muslims of the Caucasus Allahsukur Pasazade
Jeddah, 9 January, 2025 - His Excellency Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), received on Wednesday, 8 January 2025, in his office at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah, His Eminence, Shaykh al-Islām Allahşükür Paşazadə, the Mufti of the Republic of Azerbaijan and President of the Council of Muslims of the Caucasus, accompanied by a delegation from the Azerbaijani Parliament.
The two sides appreciated the distinguished relations between the OIC and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the prospects for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on a number of issues of concern to the Muslim world. – OIC News
