08-02-2025 - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the unacceptable and irresponsible statements of the Israeli Prime Minister in which he called for "the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi lands," considering this an incitement against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and an infringement on its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity, in a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The OIC also stressed that these racist statements come within the framework of the continued denial by Israel, the occupying power, of the historical, political, and legal rights of the authentic Palestinian people in their homeland and a desperate Israeli attempt to circumvent the national rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to return, self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on their national soil.

The OIC also renewed its rejection and condemnation of the plans and attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land, considering this an ethnic cleansing, a crime, and a flagrant violation of international law.

At the same time, the OIC renewed its call on the international community to redouble efforts to end the illegal Israeli colonial occupation and settlement in the Palestinian territory and to embody the sovereignty of the State of Palestine over the territory occupied since 1967 with Al-Quds as its capital. The OIC also appreciated the firm historical positions and tireless efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in providing all forms of support to the Palestinian people and their just cause and mobilizing international efforts to implement the two-state solution based on relevant United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. – OIC News
