U.S. President Donald Trump has hinted at potential breakthroughs in the ongoing conflict in Gaza, as well as progress in nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One in New Jersey, Trump said, “I think we could have some good news on the Iran front, likewise with Hamas on Gaza.”

His remarks come amid renewed Israeli airstrikes in Gaza that have reportedly killed at least 38 people, including children. The escalating violence has drawn international concern.

“We want to see if we can stop that, and Israel. We’ve been talking to them, and we want to see if we can stop that whole situation,” Trump added, without providing specific details.

The comments suggest behind-the-scenes diplomatic efforts may be underway as the U.S. administration seeks to de-escalate tensions in the region.
