Prof Yunus Offers Condolences After Air India Crash

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Thursday expressed deep condolences following the tragic crash of an Air India flight carrying 242 passengers in Ahmedabad. He also conveyed solidarity with the people and government of India during this difficult time.

“I am shocked by the tragic crash of an Air India flight carrying 242 passengers in Ahmedabad,” he said in a message addressed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We join all in prayers for the bereaved families and their loved ones,” he added.

Professor Yunus, who is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom, emphasized Bangladesh’s solidarity with India in this moment of grief.

“At this trying hour, our thoughts and prayers remain with the victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with the people and Government of India and offer our full support in any form,” he said.
