Imagine—

The World without Press,

How could we then assert-

What we supposed to express?

Press is still firmly holding

The popular saying—

“Pen is mightier than sword”

Towards retaining peoples’ right-

Of freedom of speech and

To write unspoken word!

Press Freedom Day 2024 pleads-

“A Press for the Planet:

Journalism in the face of environment crisis”

Encourages us to control

Environmental degradation process

Putting journalism in action-

Following universal journalistic ethics!

Let us work together-

To minimize environmental strain and stress

Through effective climate Journalism-

In an independent and free Press!

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka)
