Patuakhali: Owner Kamal Gazi wants to sell the 15-mound 'Raja Bahadur' bull in Kalapara, Patuakhali, for this Eid-ul-Azha. The price is going to be Tk 5 lakh.
About 3 years ago, a Shahiwal breed cow from the farm of farmer Kamal Gazi of Kumirmara village in Nilganj union of the upazila gave birth to a calf. When the calf was taken out to the field after it was one year old, all the other cows were frightened by its strength and behavior and left the field. In addition, the bull was named 'Raja Bahadur' because of its body structure, strength and royal gait. Every day, the bull is given about 3 maunds of food including wheat, corn, husk and green grass. Raised like his own child, this bull, which is about 7 feet long and 4.5 feet high, weighs about 600 kg. Now, owner Kamal Gazi wants to take the bull to the sacrificial market. Raja Bahadur is asking 5 lakh taka for it.
Kamal Gazi will make a profit if he can sell the bull at the desired price. After seeing him, many people in the area are interested in raising bulls.
