Journalist Shamsuzzaman again taken to Dhaka Central Jail

Journalist Shamsuzzaman is again being taken to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj from Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1 of Gazipur.



Shamsuzzaman, a reporter of the Daily Prothom Alo arrested in a case filed under the Digital Security Act, is again being taken to Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj from Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1 of Gazipur.
A prison van carrying Shamsuzzaman left Kashimpur Central Jail for Dhaka Central Jail around 10.15am on Saturday.
Jail Superintendent of Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1 Shahjahan Ahmed confirmed the matter.
Shamsuzzaman is again being taken to Dhaka Central Jail following an order of higher authority, he also said.
He was taken to Kashimpur Central Jail Part-1 of Gazipur from Dhaka Central Jail on Friday noon.
