Senior journalist Reazuddin Ahmed at ICU
Reazuddin Ahmed, a senior journalist was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital in the capital on Sunday .
Dhaka, Dec 19 : Reazuddin Ahmed, a senior journalist and former president of Jatiya Press Club (JPC), was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital in the capital on Sunday with Covid complications.
Reazuddin, also former president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and ex-editor of the News Today, was admitted to the hospital recently as he was diagnosed with Covid-19, JPC general secretary Elias Khan told UNB.
He said the veteran journalist was shifted to the ICU on Sunday morning as his oxygen level dropped.
Meanwhile, the family members of the journalist urged all to pray for his speedy recovery, reports UNB.
