DGHS starts COVID vaccination at 9 centres in Dhaka

The vaccination campaign began on Monday (January 21) at nine centres in Dhaka.



DGHS has started 3rd and fourth dose of COVID vaccination as coronavirus infection rate rises again in the country.

The vaccination campaign began on Monday (January 21) at nine centres in Dhaka.

Earlier on Thursday Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) asked all to take COVID booster doses.

The centres are BSMMU, Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), Kurmitola General Hospital, Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, Mugda Medical College Hospital, Sheikh Russel National Gastroliver Institute and Hospital, Fulbaria Government Employee Hospital and National Institute of Ear, Nose And Throat (ENT).

Besides, people can receive the vaccine at some places under Dhaka North and South city corporations.

Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
