Biker killed, pillion rider hurt in Hatirjheel road crash

The deceased was identified as Jasidul Mia Zahid, 24, an employee of a Patwari LPG auto-mobile workshop.



 A biker was killed and his pillion rider was injured when a car dashed  a motorbike at Kunipara in Hatirjheel area of Dhaka on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Jasidul Mia Zahid, 24, an employee of a Patwari LPG auto-mobile workshop and son of Mohiuddin Mia of Bajitpur upazila in Kishoreganj.

The private car hit the motorbike carrying Zahid and his colleague Sourab, 25 while they were returning to their respective home from their workplace around 10 pm, leaving them injured, said Bachhu Mia, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital police camp.

Later, they were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared Zahid dead around 11:45 pm.
