Eighty-two more Bangladeshi citizens arrived home on November 22 from Lebanon, bringing the total number of returnees from the war-stricken country to 697.

The returnees were warmly welcomed at the airport by government officials and representatives from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), following their arrival on an Emirates Airlines flight.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 76 of the returnees were repatriated at the government's expense, while 6 received financial assistance from the IOM for their return.

The release further emphasized that the government remains committed to supporting Bangladeshi citizens in Lebanon, offering full assistance for those wishing to return, as well as providing security for those who choose to remain in the country during these uncertain times.
