Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) deployed on Nov 10 to maintain law and order.



DHAKA, Nov 10, 2024 - The government has deployed 191 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) across the country including the capital city of Dhaka to maintain the law and order situation.

The BGB headquarters confirmed the deployment in a short message, official news agency BSS reported on Sunday.

This for the first time that the Interim government has called in the paramilitary BGB for the maintenance of law order in the country. GreenWatch News Desk.
