Dhaka, Jan 03 - A special army operation in Rangamati’s Banduk Bhanga Range uncovered two UPDF (Main) training camps on the hills in Paglichhari and Zamchuk areas on Friday, according to ISPR.

The camps were found abandoned, as the UPDF (Main) operatives fled during the operation, it said.

In Paglichhari, the camp spanned a large area with observation posts, training grounds, residences, and roads.

Another camp was discovered in Zamchuk with bunkers designed to protect against security forces' operations.

These operations are part of ongoing efforts to curb terrorist activities by regional groups and maintain law and order in the Chittagong Hill Tracts, ISPR added-UNB
