Chanchal Chowdhury received the best actor award in the lead role (male) for the film 'Hawa' while Joya Ahsan and Rikita Nandini Shimu jointly got the award for the best actress in the lead role (female) for the film 'The Beauty Circus' and 'Shimu' respectively.

Nasir Uddin Khan has received the best side actor award for 'Poran' while Afsana Mimi for best side actress award for the film 'Paap Punya.'

'Kura Pokkhir Shunne Ura' produced by Muhammad Abdul Qaiyyum and 'Poran' produced by Raihan Rafi were jointly selected for best film award. Rubayat Hossain has received the best director award for the film 'Shimu.'

This year the lifetime award is being given to two actors. They are actor Quamrul Alam Khan Khasru and actress Raushan Ara Rozina.
