The Nurul Alam Atique-directed movie will be released in theatres early next year after a seven-year hiatus.

Noted actor Jaya Ahsan-starrer film ‘Peyarar Subash’ (The Scent of Sin) has got Censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board recently.

The Nurul Alam Atique-directed movie will be released in theatres early next year after a seven-year hiatus.

Nurul Alam Atique said, “The movie was submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board on 23 November. The film is slated to release early next year. Since there are no obstacles now, I’m trying to show the film to the audience as soon as possible.”

As the reason for the film’s long delay, the director said, “The production of the film started a long time ago and it took much time to finish the production. Besides, the release process got delayed due to some complications.”

‘Peyarar Subash’ was screened at the 45th edition of the Moscow International Film Festival in the competition category earlier this year.

Besides Jaya Ahsan, Tariq Anam Khan, Ahmed Rubel, Dihan, Sushama Sarkar, Nur Imran Mithu and others will be seen acting in the project.
