Govt. to excavate 20k km canal in 5 years: Afroza

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam Rita said the government of Prime Minister Tareque Rahman will excavate and re-excavate 20 thousand kilometer canals in next five years.


The Civil Aviation Minister Afroza Khanam Rita said this while laying foundation stone of a 366-meter long bridge on the Dhaleshwari River at Rajoir here today.

The Minister said to the leaders and the activists of the party to monitor the development works to ensure its quality.

Earlier the Minister joined a views exchange meeting with the government officials of Saturia Upazila, reports BSS.
