US delegation on Democracy, and HR due Tuesday in Dhaka
A high-level US delegation led by State Department Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya will arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday .
A high-level US delegation led by State Department Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Uzra Zeya will arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday (July 11) on a four-day visit, a foreign ministry source said.
Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia Donald Lu and US AID Deputy Assistant Administrator will accompany Ms Zeya, Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen said earlier.
He said this is a regular visit under a mutual framework, the foreign secretary said, adding that a whole range of bilateral issues will be focused during the visit.
And discussions on elections may come up as one of the issues, he added.
