Army deployed in Ctg, Bandarban to deal with flood situation

As per the order of Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, the army has been deployed to assist the civil administration in dealing with the flood situation and landslides in Chattogram and Bandarban today, reports BSS.

According to a press release of the Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR), rescue operations, conducting emergency relief operations, providing medical aid and providing allout assistance to deal with the flood situation are going on relentlessly through the deployed army personnel.

Besides, other formations of the army are monitoring the flood situation very carefully in their respective areas.

The army is always ready to assist the civilian administration, the release also said.
