A delegation of nine splinter political parties calls on PM

During the meeting, they discussed about the overall situation related to holding the upcoming national elections, according to an official release of the Prime Minister press wing.



A delegation of top 14 leaders of nine political parties met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital on Thursday evening, ahead of the 12th parliamentary election slated for January 7.

During   the meeting, they discussed about the overall situation related to holding the upcoming national elections, according to an official release of the Prime Minister press wing.

They thanked the Prime Minister for taking measures to conduct a free, fair and acceptable election.

They also highly praised the comprehensive development of Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The nine political parties are: Bangladesh Islamic Front, Bangladesh Khilafat Andolon, Islamic Oikyajote, Bangladesh Muslim League, Islamic Front Bangladesh, Bangladesh Supreme Party, Bangladesh Islami Oikyajote, Ashekane Auliya Oikya Parishad and Jamiate Ulamae Islam Bangladesh.
