Weather may remain dry over Bangladesh

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours from 9am today.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over northern part and river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from today mid-night to tomorrow morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 30.7 degree Celsius at Teknaf and the lowest temperature today was 11.4 degree Celsius at Badalgachi.

Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The wind direction and speed at Dhaka is North/North-westerly (06-12) kph.

The sun sets at 05:12 PM today and rises at 06:31 AM tomorrow in the capital, reports BSS.
