3 killed as two cars collide at Purbachal

Three people were killed and five others injured in a head-on collision between two private cars at Purbachal under Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj district on Tuesday.
The collision took place around 9:30 am in Bhuyan Bari Bridge area of Purbachal 300 feet road.
The identities of the casualties could be known immediately.
Highway Police Sub-Inspector Nazmul Hasan confirmed the news.
He said one person died on the spot and two others died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the collision between two private cars.
The injured people have been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, he added.
