Preparations underway for PM`s Sylhet visit
Centering the visit, the concerned authority is taking all kinds of necessary preparation in Sylhet.
Awami League president and prime minister Sheikh Hasina will kick off her election campaign officially on Wednesday (December 20) on the occasion of the next general polls through visits to the mazars of saints Shahjalal and Shah Paran in Sylhet.

The whole city is being decorated following the visit of the Prime Minister. Beautification and road renovation are underway in several key spots of the city.
Sylhet city corporation mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury said Sylhet is being decorated in a new way centering the Prime Minister's visit. Beautification work is in progress. Some work has already been completed. We are expecting that around 10 lakh people will attend in Aliya Madrasah ground.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will start her official campaign from the holy city of Sylhet as usual. She has outstanding contributions in the development of Sylhet. The people of Sylhet will give feedback of it in the upcoming elections.
