MBBS admission test results published, pass rate 47.83pc

The MBBS admission test results for the academic session of 2023-24 was published today showing a pass rate 47.83 percent.

Out of 1,04,374 students, who sat for the exams, 49,923 secured pass marks, according to the Directorate General of Medical Education.

Of the successful students, female students are the majority, with a 59.02 percent success rate.

Tanzim Muntaka Shorba secured the top position bagging 92.5 marks out of 100. Among the successful students, the top 5,380 students have been included in the merit list and they have been allocated to 37 public medical colleges according to merit and preference.

The MBBS admission test score is a combination of marks achieved in the admission test and GPAs of SSC and HSC or equivalent exams.

The test was held on Friday (February 9). The total number of admission candidates was 1,04,374 against 5,380 seats in public medical colleges and 6,295 seats in private medical colleges, reports BSS.
