Quota reform: Student of BRU killed in Rangpur

A student of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur was shot dead during a clash between quota protesters and police on the campus on Tuesday afternoon, said police .

The deceased was identified as Abu Sayeed, 22, a 12th batch student of Rokeya University's English department.  
Commissioner of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Md Maniruzzaman confirmed the death, reports UNB.
He said police fired rubber bullets and tear gas to bring the situation under control, he said
