Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana depart for India

On Monday at 2:30 p.m., a military helicopter departed from Bangabhaban carrying Sheikh Hasina, accompanied by her younger sister Sheikh Rehana.Sources indicate they are headed to West Bengal, India.

According to AFP, the sisters left Ganabhaban for a secure location. Sheikh Hasina had intended to record a speech before her departure but did not have the opportunity.
