Speaker Shirin Sharmin Resigns from Jatiya Sangsad

In a significant development, Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has resigned from her position as the Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad. 

According to sources at Bangabhaban, Chaudhury submitted her resignation letter to President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Monday. Her departure marks the end of her tenure in one of the country's most prominent political roles.
