College principal among 2 killed in Natore road crash

Natore, Sept 11 – Two people including a principal of Tamaltala Technical College were killed and another injured in a head-on-collision between two motorbikes on Natore-Bogura highway at Dalsarak in Sadar upazila of Natore district. 

The deceased were identified as Rafique Sarkar, 55, a worker of a Natore Palli Bidyut Samity and Zulficker Ali, 31, principal of Tamaltala Technical College.

The accident occurred on Tuesday evening, when a motorbike carrying the victims hit another motorbike, leaving three people injured, said Shahadat Hossain, an officer of Natore Fire Service. 

The injured were taken to Sadar hospital where the doctors declared Rafique dead. 

Principal Zulficker was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at night. - UNB
